From a neuromodulation perspective, this inhibits the activity of the HPA axis, the central control system for cortisol secretion. The stable hot water environment of a spa hot tub continuously sends “relaxation” signals to the brain, thereby reducing cortisol release.
A spa hot tub should not be overfilled. Adding too much water to a spa hot tub can indeed cause overflow, and the reason is very straightforward—the water level will immediately rise and overflow as soon as someone enters.
➡ If it is a movable spa hot tub → it is considered personal property. As personal property → Belongs to private assets. ➡ If it is a built-in or permanently installed spa hot tub → it is considered a fixed installation. As a fixed installation → Belongs to the property's appreciation.
Most whirlpool spa hot tubs use chlorine for disinfection. Chlorine's primary function is to kill bacteria and algae, but it is also a strong oxidizing agent. Chlorine damages the hair's cuticle structure, stripping it of its natural protective oil layer.
Mixing chlorine and bromine does not simply add up the disinfection effects; rather, it produces a complex chemical reaction. Free chlorine in the water will partially convert to free bromine (HOBr). Chlorine has a fast disinfection speed but a short lifespan, while bromine has high stability but a slow disinfection speed. Mixing chlorine and bromine can lead to unstable disinfectant efficacy.
Most whirlpool spa hot tubs maintain a temperature of around 37°C to 40°C. While this temperature range is ideal for human muscle relaxation, it presents an unfavorable environment for viruses. Many common viruses (such as influenza viruses, coronaviruses, and enteroviruses) are rapidly inactivated in high-temperature environments.
Many spa hot tub users believe, "I've already added bromine, so I don't need to worry about the water quality anymore," which is a common misconception. In fact, bromine only maintains continuous disinfection, while shocking is a necessary step in periodically "resetting" the water quality.
Testing the pH Level. Refilling a whirlpool spa hot tub may seem like just changing the water, but in reality, the water composition can differ each time it's filled. Tap water, well water, or filtered water have significantly different mineral and carbonate content, all of which directly affect the water's pH balance.
When people bathe in whirlpool spa hot tubs, pores open and the skin barrier weakens, allowing microorganisms to easily enter the body through tiny openings. Potential health problems include: • Skin infections and folliculitis, • Respiratory irritation, • Eye and ear inflammation.
Theoretically, showering in a whirlpool spa hot tub is physically feasible, especially in bathroom environments with installed shower heads or those combined with shower fixtures. However, feasibility does not equate to "recommendation."
Normal Range • A thin layer of foam is present on the surface of the whirlpool spa hot tub; • The foam dissipates automatically within 10–15 seconds after the bubbling stops; • The foam does not accumulate into a thick layer or stick to the walls. This type of foam is mostly caused by natural air agitation and will not affect the user experience.
The water pump in a whirlpool spa hot tub is like the "heart," responsible for drawing water from the tub's bottom and delivering it to the jets at high pressure. The pump's power typically ranges from 1.5 to 3.0 horsepower (HP). The faster the water flow, the stronger the massage effect.
